Enchanted Brides – Fairy Tale Shoot and Editorial
This concept was to bring a modern twist to the old stories through fashion styling and hair design. The beautiful white bridal dresses were contemporary yet classic in design. By added various accessories and placing the models in mood setting backgrounds to tell the story, the concept came to life. These ideas are certainly out there and make for a different theme for a wedding.
First up: The Evil Witch from Snow White. With a high contrast background and foreground color this image is by far the strongest. The Avant garde hair design mimics a beehive but with added braids, it is the perfect modern twist on the old sinister character.
Next up: Little Red Riding Hood The light and airy backdrop brings to light her innocence. The story is told through the branches and wardrobe. Her iconic hood is there yet still lets her red hair shine through the photo.
Finally: Rapunzel – Bride. The dark background sets the mood for the poor Rapunzel, locked up in the castle tower.
